WHAT DOES YOUR BEARD ACTUALLY SAY ABOUT YOU?

Hello there, and welcome back to the TBS beard blog. I'm not sure about you but I'm a little confused with as to where my weekend disappeared to, and I'm already willing on the next as we speak.

So, I wanted to touch base on a subject based purely on assumptions, and discuss in today's blog - What Does Your Beard Actually Say About You?...

IT'S SAD, BUT PEOPLE QUICKLY JUDGE YOU BASED ON YOUR BEARD!

It is a little-known fact that us human folk are a rather strange species, and often 'judge a book by its cover', or in this can judge a man by his beard.

As humans, we are all guilty of jumping to certain assumptions, for example, if you see an old dude with a scruffy beard, most might think he's unkempt, messy and dirty. Whereas if a woman spots a smartly dressed gentleman with a well-groomed beard you would think the total opposite.

We are very judgmental as a species, and It's natural for us as humans to do so, but what do people think about your beard?

IT IS FACT THAT MOST WOMEN ENJOY A BEARDED GENTLEMAN.

Thankfully for the bearded, it's been proven time and time again that the mass majority of ladies do prefer their man to have some form of facial hair, from 'designer stubble' to 'the full lumberjack beard'.

Studies have continued to support and back up such findings, which in turn shows again that beards do catch peoples attention, so you should be taking jolly good care of your face fur moving forward. Because let's face it, you want to be noticed for having a well-groomed beard, not a scruffy, dry face full of whiskers.

SOME FOLKS JUST DISLIKE BEARDS FOR NO REAL REASON!

As much as you love your manly mane, on occasion you'll meet folks who just don't get the buzz, some may even go as far to take the time to tell you that they don't like your beard, rude, I agree, but some folks are borderline offensive.

I've met my fair of those kinda people who don't hold back or bite their tongue, usually drunk dudes at the bar, but I guess we can't please them all, nor would I wish to if I'm totally honest.

I lie to think these numb minded folks are just either one of two things, first being - Jealous. And second being - Envious of the beard. And always ill them with kindness, smile, laugh and don't let them steal your steam.

And if all else fails just point and laugh.

A WELL GROOMED FACE IS A HAPPY PLACE!

Growing a beard is not as simple as just throwing your razor and shave gel out in the trash and letting things grow out of control, well...Ok maybe a little, but there's more to growing your facial hair than laziness.

A well-kept beard requires a little to a lot of TLC each and every morning, and a light trim every now and again depending on what style you are maintaining.

Beard oils are of course your best friends, as are beard balms and butters. Choosing to carry a pocket-sized beard comb will also come in real handy for those on the go.
