WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND!

Firstly, Happy Tuesday everyone! I sure hope your week has been kind to you this far. Today, I wanted to talk about our good friends, and gently poke a little fun in their direction as we discuss some traits that we all have a friend or two that we can relate this list with. So, without any further delay, let us begin today's topic at hand, which is smartly titled We All Know That One Friend!...

WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND WHO IS ALWAYS LATE!

Yes, without a shadow of doubt or an inch of delay we can all instantly know who that one friend is who is constantly late to every gathering, social event and meeting. You know the one I speak of, their so bad at timekeeping that we tell them an incorrect meeting time, usually 30 minutes in advance on the hope that i doing so they might actually make it on time. Come on, who is it? We all have one! Be sure to name and shame them in the comments below!

WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND WHO CAN'T HANDLE THEIR DRINK!

So, you have planned a good session with a few friends after a hectic week at work. You hit the first bar and the crazy one of the group, who is usually the loudest has already begun to show signs of being slightly tipsy. The second bar is no better, in fact your tipsy frined is now pretty drunk, and before you get time to leave they fall asleep at the table, if you are lucky that is, otherwise they usually result in puking all over the damn place and have you all kicked out instead. We all know that one guy, who after one too many shandy tops makes a royal tit of himself on the karaoke, flirts with just about anyone that looks in their direction at them, and crashes long before the party is even close to being over. Not sure which friend of yours this is? then I'm sorry to say, it is probably you!

WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND WHO WILL NEVER SETTLE DOWN IN A RELATIONSHIP!

So, hands up, who has that one friend who thinks they are god's gift to the opposite sex, resulting in a manifesto of one night stands, despite having the opportunity to settle down with that one person who you thought suited them perfectly, only for them to move onto the next weekend romp that same week. Whilst I understand there are a lot of 'fish in the sea' I sure wish that they wouldn't try to swim with them all, if you catch my drift. Here's me, and most of my chumps married with kids, then there he goes, running around like he just left University and is heading into the spring break.

WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND WHO APPROVES OF YOUR BEARD!

I love my face gruff, I struggle to recall what I ever looked like without it. TO me it is much more than just face fuzz, but an extension to my being. But you know who loves my beard nearly as much as I do? Yes, THAT one friend! More often than not we share our enjoyment of growing out a little face fuzz with that one dear friend who always pays your furry face a complement or two each time you see them. Usually, and rather ironically they are beardless too, and just love to fire you a sweet compliment at every given opportunity. Thankfully my 'beard admiring friend' isn't one I see too often, as I think it would be a slight overkill to say the least if it became too much of a regular meeting. Whilst I don't mind the occasional well wished complaint, of course.

WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND WHO DISAPPROVES OF YOUR BEARD!

Come on, who is it? Point your angry judgmental finger in their direction and shame them into internaty! My disapproving beard hating friend isn't all that much of a friend, but rather a friend of a friend, and because this is so I thankfully don't share all that much time in their presence. Call in beard envy, or just downright rudeness unfortunately not everyone will be so approving of our face fluff, and usually do not hold back on their brassy bold smart ass comments, like 'Oh, don't you feel scruffy?' or 'I bet that itches and is filthy!' Yeah, because we all asked for your opinion now, didn't we.

When I first started growing my face fur I was met by shocked and narky comments from not only friends, but also family members. I guess it's different ships for different trips, but sometimes these kind of comments are ugly and really uncalled for. So rather than take their BS, learn to voice your disapproval back at them and their one track minded mouth, and if all else fails I'd suggest rethinking your friends. Nobody needs deadwood comments anyway.

So, that wraps up today's blog! I sure hope you enjoyed settling in and reading my content to your hearts content. Let's spread a little humour and tag our friends we have mentioned above on social media. Come on, you know who you are!

And until next time, Beard on Brothers, Beard on...
