First things first, depending on your facial hair style, length and cut will determine how long your grooming routine should take, some require trimming, so this is a rough guide on how I choose to do things, and I have a rather long red beard.

So if you have a shorter, more styled beard adjust accordingly, that would be the better advice I can give you here. So, in short, you may need to use a little less or a little more product, and combing your face fur won't take you as long, with possible fewer knots too.

APPLY YOURSELF SOME PRODUCT, FROM BALMS TO BUTTERS TO OILS!

I apply a small amount of balm in the morning, before topping up midday with a small drop of TBS oil.

COMB OUT ANY KNOTS, TANGLED AND TROUBLESOME AREAS!

Combing through your manly face rug will help eliminate the chances of nasty knots and tangles from forming, and will loosen any that you might find in the process.

Before you reach for the nearest combing apparatus to hand, may I make a small suggestion? ditch your cheap plastic combs and replace them with a laser cut wooden comb, much like our flip style V comb.

These won't cause any unnecessary snags pulls and tangles lie others might, protecting your hair in the process.

A BOAR BRISTLE BRUSH WORKS A REAL WONDER ON TAMING THAT FRIZZ!

Ever seen those fancy boar bristle brushes you can find in most men's cosmetic stores? No? Well, we have those readily available too!

But what's the fascination of those things? and what can they actually do to help improve your beard game?
