Today is of course no different, in regards to our topic of choice, so let us begin with today's blog titled - Random Beard Facts You Probably Didn't Know...

97% OF WOMEN PREFER THEIR MEN BEARDED

In all honesty, it is no secret that our furry faces are a real head turner when it comes to the opposite sex.

We don't even have to try so hard in order to catch the eye of a lovely lady or two who often stare in admiration for our luscious face full of whiskers.

And studies have since confirmed that beards are a real winner, winner, chicken dinner when it comes to female approval, with a staggering 97% of females digging a beard in place of a clean shave.

BEARD TRANSPLANT OPERATIONS ARE EVER GROWING IN POPULARITY

It doesn't seem a lifetime ago that we were discussing the possibilities of performing a beard transplant. And today in the year 2018, beard transplants are blooming big business.

According to the figures, beard transplants are vastly on the rise, with the procedure becoming ever so popular, more so in the United States.

The surgery begins by piercing tiny holes into the person's face and filling them with tiny hair particles in order for a beard to take and hopefully grow. Sounds painful, to say the least, wouldn't you agree?

ONCE UPON A TIME, BEARD TAX WAS A REAL THING

It is a little-known fact that many moons ago a man ho chose to sprout out his staggering beard hair would have to endure a fee in the form of a personal beard tax.

The reason for this being was so that only the wealthy could legally sprout a beard, and the lower, poorer classes couldn't.

Could you imagine such rules and regulations being in place today? Sounds rather crazy now, I'm sure you'd agree.

BEARDS CAN PROTECT AGAINST POLLEN, DUST, AND OTHER ALLERGY MATTER

Not only does a mans facial forest look sharp, dandy and rather splendid, but they can also serve a great purpose in helping fight away any pollen, dust and other allergies that may be lurking in the air.

This might sound rather far-fetched, but it has been known that facial hair can catch and eliminate pollen particles, animal hairs, and other possible allergy particles mid-air, stopping them from being ingested, in turn stopping them from having a bad allergic reaction for the beholder.

Studies have indeed been met which confirms such findings. Rather amazing when you come to think of it!
