Here at 'The Beard Struggle' it is no secret that we are slightly obsessed with all things furry and how they grow. Just to be clear we are talking beards here, not body parts (Keep it clean!). But even the sweetest things in life can cause us trouble every now and again, and today I wanted to highlight a few of these problems at hand. So, let's talk about mustaches and just how infuriating they can be from time to time...
HAVING A COLD WHEN YOU HAVE A MUSTACHE PROVES, RATHER MESSY!
Common colds are everywhere (I can confirm, as I'm currently full of cold) and are easily caught and often unwantedly shared amongst friends and family. Whilst they usually shift in a week or so they can leave those of us with mustaches in a rather 'sticky situation'. I'll spare you the gruesome and rather gory details, but imagine a constant running tap onto a wooly rug or carpet. Yeah, not all that pretty.
DRINKING YOUR MORNING FROTHY COFFEE CAN BECOME A CHALLENGE!
We all like a good old morning brew to kick start our day, but if like me you prefer a wider variety of fancy lattes and mocha choca 'whatever mebobs' they can prove a tricky drink to sip upon when you're packing a tash' as a good quarter or so of your tipple of choice soaks into it! And if you're extra unlucky you'll be left with a creamy white moustache to sport until you awkwardly notice it often later that day.
OTHERS MIGHT STRUGGLE TO SEE THAT WONDERFUL SMILE BEHIND THE 'TASH!
If you grow out that bushy marvel of a mustache big enough it might prove rather tricky to spy your mouth beneath the top lip fuzz. That means those around you can't admire that cheeky smile of yours, or when you might be feeling a little under the weather with see your frowny lack of smile. Make sure you choose to either style your mustache out of your way, or give it a little trim every now and again to keep things looking nice and shapely.
So, there you have it. A few very hairy problems you might meet when sporting mustache. As always please take a few moments to leave us any thoughts, comments and feedback in the comments section you'll find provided below. If you have a beard related topic or question you'd like to see featured in a future blog then let us hear it!
