Firstly, where did the weekend go? Seriously, it seems as though I went to bed on the Friday night and woke up to Monday morning already!

So as our Monday morning starts for us all once again this can only mean one thing, a brand new beard blog for you to feast your eyes upon.

Today I wanted to talk about disobedient fuzzy face rugs that do not want to play ball, you know the sort I'm speaking of, those wild bushy beards that need a little extra TLC to help tame things back under control. So, let us begin with today's post on How To Tame And Regain Control Of That Big Bushy Beard Of Yours...

DON'T LET IT RUN WILD AND FREE!

First up, don't be tempted to leave your face gruff to run wild and free to do whatever it so pleases, it's about regaining control and taming down those whiskers to sit upon your face in a smart and sensible manner, and training your facial hair to sit right is key.

Keep your face whiskers fresh and clean, then whilst still slightly damp right from the shower begin to comb out those knots and tangles whilst following the direction of where you'd like it to go.

TRIMMING MIGHT JUST HELP!

Another tip that many of us choose to neglect all too often is selecting the right time to take a light trim, either at your trusty beard barbers or in the comfort our our own home.

If you have a face full of split ends and tatted, damaged whiskers you'll be fighting an ever losing battle trying to regain control of your fuzz. Knowing when is best to chop out the 'dead wood' so to speak is a vital part of any beardsmens grooming routine, so know when it is the right time to trim your furry face forest, my Brother.

BEARD BALMS WORK AN ABSOLUTE TREAT!

Beard oils are great, but if you need to regain control you might just find that a trusty premium beard balm might give you that extra kick you might need.

Balms and butters tend to gel a little more with fuzzy beards as they often apply a little thicker in comparison to a beard oil. What I find works best for me and my fuzz is to leave your facial hair slightly damp after the shower, comb out any knots and tangle, apply a little balm to the mixer and continue to comb and style your frizz to get a more balanced controlled beard in the process.

INVEST IN A BEARD BRUSH TO TAME DOWN THOSE WILD WHISKERS!

If you haven't done so already you might want to invest in a boar haired bristle beard brush. These are famously popular amongst beardsmen and really give another level of balance and control when it comes to our facial hair.

Not only do they help shape any bumps, kinks and unruly hairs, the boar bristle hairs take great to any care products you might be using, such as oils, balms and butters, helping to enrich the experience with product within your face fuzz.

So, my advice would always be to invest in the right tools today for a better behaved, controlled beard tomorrow.

That sees Monday's blog musing come to a sweet close for today my friends. As always be sure to take a little time aside to leave us a comment or two with any feedback you might have in the text box you'll find provided below.

And until next time, Beard on Brothers, Beard on...
