HAPPY MONDAY EVERYBODY! Here's to a great week for us all, and a solid week of blog content regarding all things bearded. Today, I wanted to touch upon a few subjects of discussion that you are most likely to meet when you have your very own facial hair. So let us begin, with Four Comments You're Likely To Hear When Your Are Bearded...
YOU HAVE A NICE BEARD!
Having people pay a compliment or two towards your facial fur is rather pleasant. I mean, who doesn't like polite compliments every now and again? So when you pack a smartly trimmed dapper looking beard the chances are you'll meet the odd comment every now and again in your face furs favour. And rightfully so you handsome bearded fellow, you! So, soak them up and smile back politely.
WHY DO YOU HAVE A BEARD?
On the flipside, you might meet the odd smartass comment from folks that like to ask 'why do you got a beard, anyways?'. Heck, like I need to explain my facial hair choices with anyone anyway.
The best thing to do given this situation is flip the question back onto the person who originally asked it. For example, be a smart ass back and ask 'Why, I dunno, why do you have that hair upon your heard in such a style that you do?' Just so they know how it feels to be put on the spot with dumb questions in the first place.
WHEN WILL YOU SHAVE IT OFF?
I am often asked if my beard is nothing more than a phase or am I simply following a trend of some kind, and when am I planning to shave again. Of which the answer is of course untrue, and NEVER. I beard because I choose to do so. It is not a fad I'm chasing, phase of mine or following the latest cool trend. I have absolutely no desire to shave again, ever, and fully intend to extend this into the later years of my life and forever more.

CAN I TOUCH YOUR BEARD?
The ultimate all time classic question I get asked most often is the one liner 'Can I touch your beard?' Usually this gets asked right after the person asking has already began feeling it, which is cool, I guess. Although please note I wear me some oils and balms daily, so it is highly possible that you're going to be left with a little product in hand afterwards, so don't say I didnt warn ya!
