Beards, we sure do love them! So much so we go to extreme lengths to test out and try a whole variety of tips and tricks on how to keep yours looking at its absolute finest.
And today is certainly no different, as we gift you a little friendly advice on how to keep that facial hair of yours tidy when you are eating a wide variety of your favourite foods. So without any further delay, we shall begin...
MAKE YOU MEALS BITE SIZED TO HELP KEEP THAT FUZZ CLEAN!
When it comes to selecting your favourite foods to eat for lunch, remember to make them as bite sized and beard friendly as possible. For example, if you have stacked yourself the freshest foot long sub with all the trimmings take a few moments to cut it up into more manageable pieces. This way any beard spillages will be to a minimal and much more manageable should they happen.
NAPKINS ARE YOUR TRIED AND TRUSTED FRIEND!
I never really cared all that much for the use of napkins when eating out before I had a beard of my own. I mean, those lemon zesty smell on those hand and face wipes from KFC are pretty ideal, even more so when your have a face rug to keep tidy and take good care of.
I have gotten myself into a neat habit of carrying a few spare napkins and hand wipes with me in the car pretty much wherever I go. Being a father does of course help, as you are never far from a handy wet wipe as and when it is needed.
So, just after you take a bite out of that double cheese burger and extra fries and a spillage happens you've come well prepped to fix and overspill that may occur in the process. Leaving yourself with a happy smiley you and a debris free face forest in toe.
IT'S NOT JUST FOOD WE HAVE TO PREPARE FOR, OUR DRINKS ARE ON IT TOO!
Do not think it is only food we have got to watch out for these days, as our lovely drinks can also prove pretty problematic for our facial hair too.
That new fancy coffee that has just launched at Starbucks is almost certain to leave a slug like trail across your moustache after a single sip, so here's how's best to fix it.
First, when possible why not use a straw? They are pretty much guaranteed to not fail. You have a hot drink? simple! have it in one of those take out cups which usually includes an 'easy-spill' lids. Better still use a store card or something of a similar value that you might have already on your person to make a dam/space on the top of your upper lip, keeping any frothy coffee mess firmly at bay and away from your spectacular moustache.
So there goes another blog for today my friends, as always we hope you took something from today's post. Be sure to leave us your thoughts and feedback in the comments section below.
And until next time, Beard on Brothers, Beard on...
