4 TIPS FOR SIMPLISTIC BEARD MAINTENANCE

Happy Friday folks! Let's wrap up this week of blogging content exactly how we started it, with a few solid, yet simple pointers for an optimal beard! So let us begin with 4 Tips For Simplistic Beard Maintenance....

DONT SKIMP WHEN IT COMES TO SELECTING THE RIGHT PRODUCTS FOR BOTH YOU AND YOUR BEARD!

The internet is stacked to the high heavens with beard care products, from oils, balms to butters, you really don't have to search too far to find them. My step of advice would be not to pick up a product based on it's price tag, as the saying goes 'you often get what you paid for' is usually the case when it comes to sourcing a premium quality beard product.

Believe me when I tell you that there are an alarming number of cheaply produced products that are thrown together in huge quantities, usually never being tried and tested, but instead put online ready for you to buy and become the guinea pig to test them out.

To save on running the risk of splashing any old product on your face whiskers find a product you know and trust and stick with it. Choose wisely!

FIND A TRIED AND TESTED ROUTINE THAT WORKS AND STICK WITH IT!

Once you have the right tools for the job it's time to work out the best way to care for your face fluff. This all comes down to size and style of your fuzz, but here's how I choose to do things, day in day out.

First up, after jumping out of the shower I leave my big bushy ginger beard slightly damp. I find this helps smooth out any product of which I might be using that day. Then I select between either our 'TBS' tonic or balm, applying a coin sized amount to the tip of my finger before actively softening the balm into a liquid form in the palm of my hand.

I then even the product through my beard, being sure to reach each area within my facial hair from tip to top, before combing through and styling the beard to sit neat and tidy upon my face.

Once you've discovered your best route you then have to stick with it for optimal results. No skipping a day here or there, no cutting corners, if you want the best results you have to put in that little bit of extra TLC, it'll all be well worth it I can assure you.

TAKE A LIGHT TRIM EVERY NOW AND THEN, AS AND WHEN IT'S NEEDED!

Oh no! It's that time again! you know the one, when your face fuzz isn't looking at its finest and doesn't want to play ball. Regardless on how much product you might use it just doesn't wanna sit pretty upon that face of yours. There's only one thing for it, it's time to brave the shave!

Now now, I don't mean shave that marvel of a beard off completely! I'm taking about a little trim every now and then, just to help shape things into place and keep that dapper appearance of yours looking as fresh as a daisy.

Whenever I hear the word 'beard trim' my testicles shoot into hibernation and I get a sudden sense of feeling unwell, but trimming your man mane is a very important part of caring for your fuzz.

Doing so helps lower the number of split ends that hide away amongst your fuzz, and removes any otherwise dead hairs allowing things to continue growing on smoothly.

So, don't fear a trim every so often gents.

ALWAYS CARRY THE ESSENTIALS ALONG THE ROAD WITH YOU!

If you are going away for the weekend, or even if you are just commuting to and from work, make sure you carry the essentials with you wherever you might be heading.

The essentials of course being a little oil or / and balm, and your trusty beard comb. We never know as and when we might need to spruce up, and having these tools at hand at your disposal can only be a bonus.
