The worldwide web has literally thousands upon thousands of pages jam packed to the high rafters with beard care advice. We also offer sound, solid, tried and tested grooming tips that we recommend to all of our readers.

Although it is rather fun sharing our findings with our fellow Brothers in regards to care for your facial hair, who is telling you what you should NOT be doing with you thick furry face? Today, I wanted to highlight 4 Things You Should Never Do With Your Beard...

DON'T WEAR BEARD JEWELRY, IT DOES NOT LOOK COOL, YOU JUST LOOK STUPID!

The Vikings might have been able to pull beard jewelry off perfectly, but let's be honest, it just doesn't have the same effect nowadays. I know, I know, it's a bitter pill to swallow. I mean, who doesn't want to look like a powerful bearded Viking?

But sadly jewelry in your face fuzz looks ridiculous, and if you take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror, you'll soon agree that 'bling' belongs anywhere BUT a man's beard.

DO NOT TRIM YOUR BEARD TOO SOON, MR EAGER BEAVER!

So, you wake up with a face full of out of control whiskers, and no matter what you seem to do the damned thing doesn't want to play ball and behave itself. So, this must mean you might need a light trim, right? WRONG!

Much like how our lovely ladies who have a 'bad hair day', us dandy gentlemen can also be cursed with the occasional 'bad beard day' too. Sometimes my ginger fuzz plays by the rules and looks dapper than ever, then the following morning it might decide to 'go rogue' and give the image that I look like an extra from The Planet Of The Apes. These things happen, and more often than not at times. So, in short, don't sweat it, Brother. It'll soon fix itself in next to no time.

DO NOT LET YOUR BEARD GROW OUT LIKE A WILD FURRY FACE JUNGLE!

On the flipside of the previous suggestion, it is also equally as important to tame down your patchy frizz every now and again in order to keep things in good stead standing.

But why would I need to trim a beard when I am growing it thicker? I hear you ask. It's simply to help keep your face whiskers healthy and free of any damaged splitting hairs, that would otherwise slow down the growing process to an instant standstill. Having a light trim every now and again and treating yourself to some growth products will help keep things in good shape moving forward.

EAT YOUR FOOD, DON'T WEAR IT!

Ok, we've all done this at one time or another. You're eating out with your friends enjoying your lunch, then sometime afterwards you spy a glimpse of yourself in the restroom mirror and notice a piece of food has burrowed its way into your man-mane, on display for the whole world to see.

And your buddies didn't even think to alert you? Damn it, Some friends they are, right? In all honesty it is a very easy hiccup to make, and one that can be quickly rectified too. I tend to carry those handy pocket sized wet wipes around on my person, or a restaurant napkin or two. Then this way after eating those more challenging foods I can wipe away any overspill right as it happens. Equalling a tidy, mess free beard.

So, there you have it, some sound advice on what not to do with one's beard. Have a facial hair related question? Or would like to recommend a topic for future blog post? Let us have it in the comments section you'll find provided below.
