In the goodwill spirit of 'No Shave November' you are most likely to have noticed beards and moustaches are booming this month. But what happens when November has been and gone? The chances are you'll have probably became rather attached to your new found facial forestry. The thought of after a solid month or so of growing out your facial gruff, having to now shave it away whilst waving it a goodbye down the plug hole might seem a little overwhelmingly needless. But how do you crack it to your better half, family and friends that you've now chosen to keep your new beard after all? Well, here are four reasons your new wonderous beard deserves to stay forever more!...

BEARDS. WOMEN LOVE THEM!

It's no secret that the majority of Women dig a furry faced bearded fellow. According to several surveys and studies beards make a man appear strong, powerful and more attractive in comparison to a clean shaven face. Although the female kind have a whole variety of personal preferences when it comes to what style of facial hair they prefer. Some like a full 'lumberjack' beard whereas others might choose the 'five o'clock shadow' effect (Which isn't all that much of a beard, let's be honest!) Women's magazine, Cosmopolitan recorded a recent study that confirmed furry faces win over naked faces all day, every day.

FACIAL FORESTS WILL KEEP YOUR WARMER IN THE COLD WINTER MONTHS!

It is true! Your beard has a magnificent way of helping keep your face warm in the winter months, acting as a form of insulation to help lock in your body's naturally produced heat. What's even more amazing is in the hotter summer months your beard does a U-turn and actually helps keep you a little cooler by protecting your neck and face from the harmful UV sun rays. Who thought a beard could be so unbelievably versatile?

YOU'LL INSTANTLY MISS YOUR BEARD IF YOU DO DECIDE TO SHAVE!

Another reason not to chop off your facial forest when November ends is rather simple, you're pretty much guaranteed to miss it! It's true! I hear from many 'Movember' participants at the beginning on December voicing how much they miss their furry chops, often promising to start over growing out what they once had. If you think about it, it does make perfect sense. Imagine you wear your favourite sweater. Over time of frequently wearing it you'll probably become rather used to it and how it looks and feels. Then one day you wake to find that favourite sweater of yours has been brutally shredded and tossed in the trash. 'But..but I rather liked that sweater!' you gasp. Well, when growing out a beard the first few days/weeks you might feel a little scruffier than you usually would, then over the coming weeks you learn to embrace your new look which might even gift you a new sense of self confidence that you probably hadn't even realised you ever had. Or is that just me? No, I didnt think so.

JUST THINK OF THE TIME YOU'LL SAVE NOT HAVING TO SHAVE!

Just imagine how much time you'll save each morning by not having to foam up those baby soft cheeks and hack away at your face stubble! Although this might prove rather time saving in the first few months, once your beard begins to reach a decent length you'll notice an equal amount of time will be used by maintaining a healthy beard care routine. Although I'm sure you'd agree that the results alone will be time much better spent.
