4 REASONS WHY BEARDED FACES ARE BETTER THAN NAKED FACES

We're always finding ourselves having to defend our reasons for growing out our beards. If it isn't the disapproving colleague at work it's the disgruntled family relative you haven't seen for a while that are constantly on your case for you to shave of that facial fluff. Well, here are some handy pointers as to why our glorious beards are way better than a clean shave naked face...

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GROW BEARDS!

First up, men are genetically designed to grow facial hair. Look back to the very dawn of mankind, the Neanderthal males had facial hair growth as well as significantly hairier bodies and they grew them out for good reason too. Not only did they act as barrier against the worlds elements but they also displayed a man's power and strong character in battle as well. If we weren't supposed to sport a beard on our face then our genetic code simply wouldn't enable us to do so.

WOMEN WILL DIG YOUR BEARD AND ALL IT'S BENEFITS!

I've touched upon this subject in previous blog posts, but it is a commonly known fact that the female kind rather dig our trusty beards. Don't believe me? Then why not ask a lady or two yourself! They often enjoy a jolly good fumble (of the beard, keep it clean!) every now and then. It also adds an interesting experience when making out too, and that's not to mention kissing certain 'other' areas if you catch my drift. Keeping things PG just ask any lady who happens to have a bearded beast in her life what the pluses are to beards, and her smile will tell you all you need to know without her having to say a single word.

YOU'LL GAIN MORE RESPECT FROM FELLOW BEARDOS YOU MEET!

It's a little known unwritten fact that when one bearded gentleman so happens to meet another, a firm nod of approval will happen take place. Even if we have never met the fellow furry faced chap before in our life the mutual respect is often still shared between the two. It's a tad hard to explain, although I view it like this. It takes a whole lot of time, hard work and dedication to grow out and maintain a beard. So, when I pass a fellow bearded man in the street I highly respect that he too, shares the same vision when it comes to beards and the commitment they are. And that alone deserves any man's respect.

BEARD COMPLIMENTS COME IN ABUNDANCE!

We might get the odd bit of stick every now and then from our friends and certain family members, but overall you'll find yourself receiving a much higher amount of compliments in regards to your beard. In the first year of growing out my bright ginger beard mane the three stages I passed through were first, being shock. Nobody seemed to understand as to why I randomly decided to start growing a beard. Then once that passed the second was questions. Everybody I knew had an opinion regarding my beard, many labelled it as a fad that I would simply pass by given time. The questions as to 'why?' kept coming and if anything this just made me more determined to let it grow! Then lastly, was acceptance. When the majority of the people I know had warmed to me having a beard they finally accepted that this wasn't a silly stage I was going through that'd pass, but instead people seemed to respect my lifestyle choices. Now pretty much all my family and close friends rather like the beard, and rightfully so! As this big ginger faceful of awesomeness isn't going anywhere you motherfudgers!
