Here at 'The Beard Struggle' we would be stark bonking crazy to suggest that any beardsmen would or should shave off their beloved beard.
Of course, we rather like your furry faces just as much as you do, and continuously promise to grant you with sound, solid tried and tested advice on how to take jolly good care of it. But what happens when regardless to your best efforts there comes a time when your beard has to take the chop?
Let us talk about a few of these scenarios in today's blog titled - 4 Reasons As To Why You Might Have Shaved Off Your Beard...
YOUR PARTNER DOESN'T APPROVE OF THE FACE FUZZ!
One of the main reasons a man might decide to 'brave the shave' could be because his partner doesn't approve of his new fuzzy faced appearance.
Of course everyone is entitled to do as he/she pleases to do to a degree, although many men choose to follow their partner's advice, usually for a quiet life. My wife didn't approve of my furry face to begin with, but over time she has grown rather attached and would now happily admit that I just wouldn't look right without my ginger beard.
WORK COMMITMENTS MIGHT HAVE FORCED YOU TO SHAVE!
Ah, the dreaded workplace disapproval strikes again! Unfortunately it seems many places of work still wag their finger in disapproval when it comes to facial hair, some even have it written in the rules that face fluff is disallowed. In the year 2017 how warped out does that sound?
Sadly this happens more often than not, as we reported recently that one firm totally banned their workers from having any form of facial hair whatsoever, even a little light stubble. Blasphemy!
YOU MIGHT HAVE ACTED ON IMPULSE ONLY TO INSTANTLY REGRET IT!
Let's b honest for a second here, show of hands if you have ever made a trimming mistake acting on a random impulse and have later lived to regret it? *raises hand*.
I think we are all pretty much guilty of this at some point or another, what seems like a smart move at the time often turns into deep regret when things go somewhat wrong. Even worse if these acts are infused with the dreaded booze.
We are often left with bags of regret and no other choice other than to start over from square one. Never again I say. Never.
YOU SHAVED IN THE NAME OF CHARITY!
A good deed is a good deed, and some of your even go as far as to brave the shave all in the name of charity. Our beloved face forests take the chop in order to help raise funds all in the aid of a good cause, a rather ballsy move I'm sure most of you would agree.
I have to applaud anyone who puts their face fur on the line for a charitable cause, because in all honesty I don't think I have the balls to display my 'big ol' moon face' to the world, for love nor money ever again. Seriously, me without a beard makes me look like the moon from the nursery rhyme 'The Cat & The Fiddle', take it from me, at the somewhat ripe age of 33 it just ain't all that pretty anymore.
