Happy Tuesday folks! I sure hope you're having a great week so far, and have been enjoying our daily blog content to help you battle through and not only survive, but thrive this 'No Shave November'. We have been extensively gathering the finest tips to help your beard game grow strong throughout the month that is November, and beyond.

Today I wanted to highlight some of the most common 'NSN' mistakes us men tend to make during this time of year, all in the hope that we can share a little wisdom so you don't make the same mishaps in the process.

So let us begin with todays blog topic, which is perfectly titled 4 Mistakes You Must Avoid This No Shave November...

DON'T SUCCUMB TO THE TEMPTATION TO TRIM OR SHAVE YOUR FACE FUZZ THIS MONTH!

As tempting as it might be, please do not be tempted to trim, tidy of shave your face fuzz this month. It is titled 'NO SHAVE November' for a very good reason.

Whilst I appreciate things might become rather itchy and you may feel a little scruffier than you thought you might, but it is all part of parcel, which usually doesn't last very long, thankfully.

You might feel scruffier than your usual self, but please rest assured you don't look scruffy at all. If anything you will be turning a few heads for all the right reasons, so keep at it my friend!

IT MIGHT ONLY BE SHORT, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO CARE FOR IT!

Another common mistake to make when you first start out growing your facial hair is the misconception that you do not need to take much care of your facial hair, if any at all. I hear so frequently that many believe their fuzz is just too young to need to care for, and that they must wait until it reaches a certain length of beard has first flourished out before needing to use oils and balms.

I can confirm these theories to be completely false, and strongly suggest you should begin practising a good grooming regime from the very beginning, as in doing so you'll give your facial hair the best advantage possible this November and beyond.

TRY NOT TO PICK AND PULL AT YOUR NEW FACE FUR!

A common habit many of us bearded folks tend to have is picking and pulling loose hairs out from our beard, which done over long periods of time can cause hair loss and bald spots to begin to form in our facial hair line.

The easiest fix here is to stop doing it, but it is an easy habit to form in the first place, so try and be aware of what you are doing and not start this in the first place. If you have already picked up this habit, make those around you aware of this and ask them to give you a polite word (or a punch in the ribs, either works!) when they catch you doing it. That is what I found worked for me.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO START SHAVING ONCE NOVEMBER PASSES BY!

So, the month of November will soon pass us by, by which time you should have a rather impressive beard of your own that you've probably become rather attached with, literally. But the end of November doesn't have to signify the end of your face fuzz.

Many men choose to keep their beard afterwards, and who can fault them! Beards are friggin awesome! So, if you find yourself digging your newfound appearance then I suggest you keep it. After all you have very much earned it, Brother.

So, that sees todays blog come to a close for now my friends. As always we urge you to ask any questions that you might have in the comments section you'll find provided below.

And until next time, Beard on Brothers, Beard on...
