I'm sure you would all agree when I say beards are pretty awesome. Not only do they add that edge to our appearance, they have been known to boost a mans self esteem and confidence whilst turning a few heads for all the right reasons in the process. I wanted to reinforce the pros about growing out a furry face for good. So, today, let's discuss 4 Little Known Benefits Of Having A Beard...

KEEP THOSE CHEEKS OF YOURS A LITTLE WARMER THIS WINTER!

With the cold winter months upon us, I thought it would be rather fitting to point out the obvious that beards make great face warmers. Most of a persons body heat escapes from the head, mainly the scalp, as well as the neck and face. When you opt in to live the 'Bearded Life' you'll surely have noticed how warmer your face keeps during those frosty meetings. It's a simple process really, but your beard acts like your very own personal face warmer. In turn your body temperature rises, helping you keep a tad warmer as and when needed. Pretty impressive, right?

KEEPING THE SUNS UV RAYS AT BAY ALSO WORKS CHARM!

On the flipside, when the summer sun is beaming down upon us that former insulated 'winter warmer' continues to amaze, as now rather than lock in the body's naturally formed heat, it works in the total opposite, helping keeping your face protected from the sun's harmful UV rays whilst locking in moisture which in turn helps keep you cooler. The suns rays can prove rather harmful if we over expose ourselves to them, so keeping protected is key. And it appears somebody has already briefed your marvelous man mane in on this fact, as it does it's job perfectly! Of course, you have to return the favour and take extra care of your beard to stop any troublesome areas from forming. (Beard oil, beard oil and more beard oil!) But it's pretty awesome how your face fuzz can help you in any given season don't you think?

LEVEL UP YOUR SEX LIFE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!

It's never been a secret that most women dig beards. The bigger the better! (I'm talking about beards here! Keep it clean!) It's also believed that packing a little (or a lot!) of facial fuzz amps up the anti in the bedroom department for a whole host of reasons. Ladies who like beards are said to suggest that having facial hair makes a man appear more sexually attractive. Let's be honest, having your lady pull a handful of gruff does heighten the moment that's for sure. It's also said that a beard unlocks a man's inner primal instincts, heightening our sexual desires and want to perform between the sheets. And that's not to mention how beards can help out in the fourplay department. If she loves the sensation granted by a furry face when kissing, imagine what that 'face forest' is capable of in 'THAT' area! Yep, I mean exactly THAT! *wink wink*

YOUR FURRY FACE CAN HELP FIGHT INFECTIONS AND ALLERGENS!

Dermatologists have suggested that growing your beard will help prevent certain infections and allergies from arising, as your beard works as a barrier stopping such nasties dead in their tracks. Think of it as a sort of filter system if you will. When allergens are floating around in the atmosphere, they are usually easily inhaled which our bodies then react with, usually in the form of itchy eyes, blocked sinuses and sneezing, you know, all that joyful stuff we love! Well, your beard catches them mid flow, preventing them from reaching it's destination. If that wasn't impressive enough facial hair can help prevent infections caused by bacteria residing on the skins surface, helping your skin stay fresh and blemish free, a triple win all round I say!
