Oh, hello there, and please allow me to hold the door ajar as we welcome you back to the finest beard blog on the internet, The Beard Struggle Blog!

As the cold winter snap begins to sneak up on us, I wanted to highlight some of the benefits to having facial hair in the winter in today's blog, which is titled - 4 Benefits Of Choosing To Have A Beard In The Cold Winter Months...

YOUR FACE FUR WORKS AS YOUR VERY OWN GROWN SCARF, AND WILL HELP KEEP YOU FACE WARM!

Did you know that when the ice begins to bite at your toes your face can actually stay a touch warmer with the help of your beard?

It's a little-known fact that having a fuzzy face can only benefit your warmth in the winter months, much like you own face insulation, it's rather handy and doe actually help!

So just remember, when Jack Frost comes nipping this winter, your beard has your back, Bro.

BEARDS LOOK SH*T HOT WITH BEANIE HATS!

It has to be highlighted that facial hair most certainly loos the part with headgear, especially beanie hats and those that are similar.

I guess they just add a certain look to any bearded fellow, which can come in real handy when (much like myself) you are short-haired in the colder months.

As a young dude, I was forever wearing hats, caps, and bandanas, I used to work in a large warehouse, a chocolate factory to be precise, and in the winter it would be unbelievably freezing.

So my baggy beanie hat would always come in handy, now if only I had grown a beard sooner, I would've had a badass image to match my headgear.

BEARDS MAE LIKE WORK OF IDLE HANDS!

Ever find yourself fondling your beard without good reason? I do this often when I'm thinking, listening or just pausing for a short moment of thought.

Having a light fondle every now and then (of your beard, keep it clean!) is rather harmless, but be sure not to sort out and pluck any course, or knotted hairs that you might find.

DOing this will be certain to thin out your beard and cause an unbalanced appearance to your man mane, so tread cautiously.

It is an easy habit to fall into and can be a tough one to shake. So, you have been warned my furry face friends.

COLD SORES, BLEMISHES, AND BROKEN SKIN BREAKOUTS CAN TAKE A HYKE THIS WINTER!

It seems that the colder months also bring out the worst in our skin, as spots, blemishes, and breakouts tend to surface more frequently around this time.

Thankfully having a furry face can help better protect your face from suffering at the hands of nasty looking spots and cold sores. Having a few inches of face fur seems to lower the chances fo skin breakouts.

Possibly because your facial hair serves as a barrier against the cold snap, keeping you warm, safe and cozy in the process.

When we choose to use grooming products such as beard oils, balms, and butter, they also provide our skin with essential oils, which act as a moisturiser for our skin too. So, it's not just your face fuzz that's protected by our exclusive TBS Viking beard care range.
