BEARDS CAN INCREASE A MAN'S SOCIAL STATUS!
In a report titled the Dixon and Vasey study of beards, it was closely observed that the lovely ladies found men with facial hair appear to look older and of a higher social status.
Not only do they reflect a mans standing, the can also help boost your confidence, and grant a makeover to your overall image.
IN THE MIDDLE AGES, TOUCHING ANOTHER GENTLEMAN'S BEARD WAS GROUNDS FOR A DUEL!
In the middle ages it was a big no go to touch another gentleman's beard, and for those who dare do so it would more often than not lead to a bloody duel between the toucher and the beardsmen.
The reason for this being was a man's beard was seen as a sign of honour and virility. The bigger the beard the bigger the crown jewels, shall we say. So to touch another man's face gruff was a very mad move.
BEARDS ARE BELIEVED TO GROW OUT FASTER WITHOUT SEX!
This fact is often heavily debated against, but it is believed that a man who has sustaned from seual intercourse for a length of time will boost his facial hair growth by almost a quarter of what it would be otherwise.
Whilst bearded singletons will be happy to hear such findings, on the flipside other reports suggest that having a good balanced sex life actually helps increase growth. So, the jury is still out on this one.
BEARDS CAN SLOW DOWN A MAN'S AGING PROCESS!
Whilst facial hair is said to make a man appear older compared to a nakey faced gent, did you know that sporting a furry face actually helps slow down the aging process?
