Being a bearded gent myself, I often look back on certain things in my past wishing I had done things somewhat differently. Not anything too heavy or all that extreme, more so to do with my terrible dress sense, lack of style and crazy facial hair in my early teens in all honesty. So, today I wanted to highlight 3 Heavy Regrets Many Bearded Men Commonly Have...

WHY DIDN'T I GROW THIS MARVELOUS BEARD SOONER?

One of my biggest regrets by far is not choosing to grow out my furry face forest sooner. I had a little light stubble here and there over the years, but nothing to the extent as the full ginger beard I sport so proudly today.

I can't help but ponder the thought of how gloriously big my beard would look now if I had of grown out my beard sooner. I'm pretty sure I would be a the 'Wizardly' stages by now.

LOOKING BACK ON PHOTOS WITHOUT YOUR BEARD LOOKS OUTRIGHT STRANGE!

This is another one that crops up in my mind frequently. Whenever we get out the family photos it's great to reminisce on the good old days. But I often think how much greater would I look if I had my fire red beard in that particular photo. My wedding pictures to be more precise. I look almost unrecognizable to how I am today all furry n'all. And not just older either. Just me? No? I didn't think so.

OUR EARLY FIRST ATTEMPTS AT FACIAL HAIR IS OFTEN REGRETTABLE!

Let us be honest here for a second. That beard you now so proudly sport upon your cheeks probably wasn't your first attempt at growing out some face fluff now, was it?

Chances are in your teens you might have mustered up a little stubble, maybe even a goatee style cut to match your questionable fashion style choices. And no doubt there's that one awkward photo that your Mother has as evidence that this old you even existed. Usually resurfacing at any family gatherings.

I sported a chin strap style short ginger beard when I first grew out. It was pretty itchy, not all that great and looked rather unfinished. Thankfully this was short-lived, although my Instagram still holds photos that this actually happened. Damn you Insta!

So, that sees today's lighthearted beard blog come to a close for today my furry faced friends and beardy admirers. Have something you'd like to add?
