There are many benefits when using beard oils and balms. Although it does help if first you have some form of facial hair though! Grooming products have sky rocketed in popularity over the past few years as have the growth of facial forests sported around the globe, so let's talk about a small collection of great reasons to use oils and balms...

Oils and balms help moisturize your face.

It's just as important to look after your skin beneath the beard as it is to look after your beard itself. If your skin becomes irritated and itchy it can easily transform into the dreaded 'beardruff.' Both oils and balms keep your skin clean, soft and happy which will help your facial hair growth flourish.

Oils and balms help minimise the chances of course hair and split ends.

An unkempt beard will soon become dry which can lead to split ends which will ultimately stump your beards growth. Spit ends are not easily avoidable, over combing can be a culprit in the cause of damaged facial hair. But applying generous amounts of grooming products can help strengthen and repair any damaged hair your beard may contain.

Maintaining a well kept beard helps eliminate beardruff.

As previously stated in numerous past posts beardruff can prove to be an absolute nightmare for bearded blokes. It is far too easy to obtain the dreaded 'druff' but thankfully keeping your beard well nourished can keep it down to a minimum and even eliminate it altogether!

Using oils and balms helps revitalise your beard.

This one might seem somewhat obvious. But if you own a well kept beard our oils and balms give your beard that extra healthy looking shine, creating a brighter appearance for your beard-mane.

That's another one wrapped up for this week!
